Yusuke, while somewhat hostile at times, had always been loyal to a fault even in the face of the worst truths about Madarame. Yusuke Kitagawa wasn't someone Izuku expected to possess a Persona. It took years before people accepted that Bob Kane was not the God of Batman but rather a talentless dude who stole credit from and fucked over more gifted people just to get rich & famous. Batman’s iconic look? His social circle? The dual identity? The gadgets? All of that was Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson, and Bob Kane attempted to steal all that even in death. Bob Kane went out of his way to try and rewrite how Batman got made, making bogus sketches of Batman’s costume so that he can say that all of Batman’s stuff was his idea, unlike Stan Lee who was just more public than the artists and newspapers who didn’t get the comics industry ignored Ditko & Kirby. Now one might say this is just a case of Stan Lee-Steve Ditko-Jack Kirby ‘whodunnit?’ Kind of thing, but no. The truth is Bob Kane was stealing the credit from the artist Bill Finger, who actually did most of the work.

For years people considered him the sole creator of Batman, and the dude milked that shit for all its worth by doing paintings about Batman when the Adam West TV Series came out and touting himself as Batman’s one true creator. Take Bob Kane for example, the guy who wrote Batman when he began. Far too often people are blinded by brand names and works, ignoring the loathsome person who might be behind them. Madarame is truly a talentless leech, but he isn’t wrong. Not much can be made different about Madarame because his character is really straight-forward and Yusuke needed this specific revelation to shatter his flimsy justifications of Madarame.
